If you want a roof tent with "extra everything", the Åreskutan from Taktältarna is the right choice for you. The roof tent has a number of different functions that will give you a wonderful and smooth roof tent experience.

With the Åreskutan roof tent, it will be easy to go out on both small and large adventures. We have developed a high-quality roof tent that can be used for a long time without wearing out.

The roof tent folds up in just a few minutes and is accessed by climbing onto the included telescopic ladder, which is easily adjusted to the height of your car.

Up in the tent there are large windows and a roof hatch that gives you a fantastic view from the head pillow. Blankets and pillows can be left in the roof tent when it is folded. The included air gap mattress prevents condensation under the mattress.

The water ski can be used in all seasons and will always keep you dry, regardless of the weather.

• Extra thick mattress of 8 centimeters with removable and washable mattress cover.

• Moisture protection in PVC along the sides of the mattress that protects any condensation from penetrating.

• Large windows in three directions provide fantastic views and really good ventilation. Choose to close completely for blackout or to use the mosquito net.

To mount the Åreskutan, your roof rails and car roof must have an approved maximum load of at least 75 kilos.

The roof rails must have at least 72 centimeters of "clean rail", i.e. without protruding plastic parts from the feet.

We recommend that you use the roof rails where the beam is on top of the feet and that you place the roof rails at least 80 centimeters apart.

The Årekutan roof tent is available in three different sizes where it is the width of the mattress that differs:
• 140 centimeters - two-man tent - 2-3 people
• 165 centimeters - three-man tent - 2-4 people
• 180 centimeters - four-man tent - 3-5 people

How many people can actually fit in each tent depends on how much space you feel you need, as well as the size of the people. The length of the mattress for all sizes is 230 centimeters. Four-legged friends can therefore have a place at the foot end!

The roof tent is delivered complete to you. The only thing you need to do yourself is screw the mounting rails to the bottom of the roof tent and screw the steps. The tools to do this are included.

Shipping cost for the roof tent Åreskutan is added with SEK 1,499 for home delivery.

We ship from our warehouse on Wednesdays and Fridays. Delivery time is normally 2-7 working days, depending on where you live.

There is also the possibility to pick up your roof tent (free of charge) at our warehouse in Storfors, Värmland.
