With a roof tent, it is easy to get out on both small and large adventures. We ourselves often go out close to home for just one night. But of course one constantly dreams further away in thought.
Here we collect the travel reports (made by us and other roof tenters) we previously posted on the Roof Tent Blog and hope that it can inspire you in your roof tent dreams. Even more tips follow further down the page.

Taktältarna rents roof tents in Östersund and Stockholm . Here are tips specifically aimed at our rental customers starting from the pick-up location.
Starting from Stockholm
If you are renting in Stockholm, we would especially like to advise you to take the ferry over to Gotland . Pickup takes place in Västerhaninge, on the way to the ferry over to Nynäshamn. To Gotland, we did our first longer trip with a roof tent on Taktältarna, when we went around the whole island. It was easy to find nice places to pitch a roof tent, the sea is everywhere and the range of restaurants is great.
Another tip is to go to Scania - we have been to both the Bjärrehalvön (Höganäs! Båstad! Holy Smoke !) and among apple trees and poppies in Österlen .
If you have children, why not a visit to Astrid Lindgren's world in Vimmerby, continue out to the coast at Västervik and then cross the bridge to sunny Öland!
