New for 2026 - let us introduce Åreskutan XXL. With a tent width of a full 220 centimeters, this is our largest roof tent. This is suitable for those looking for a roof tent that can comfortably accommodate 4-5 people.

Just like its predecessor Åreskutan XL, the Åreskutan XXL has two ladders and two entrances. The difference between the two models is the width of the mattresses inside.

For the Åreskutan XXL, you get two mattresses each 110 cm wide, giving you a total sleeping area of 220 cm.

Maximum comfort for large groups
Åreskutan XXL provides a spacious sleeping area where you can choose to sleep either lengthwise or crosswise, depending on how many need to fit. The roof tent is equipped with two generous mattresses each 110x235 cm (8 cm thick) for a truly good night's sleep.

Flexible with two rooms and separate entrances
Åreskutan XXL can easily be divided into two separate rooms using a removable wall. Each room has its own entrance and its own telescopic ladder for easy access. Perfect for families or groups who want to combine togetherness with flexibility.

Easy to assemble and safe to use
Åreskutan XXL is designed for cars and roof racks with an approved roof load of at least 100 kilos. With robust materials and smart solutions, this is a roof tent that can handle both large families and big adventures. Maximum load inside the roof tent – 500 kilos.

To mount the Åreskutan, your roof rails and car roof must have an approved maximum load of at least 75 kilos.

The roof rails must have at least 72 centimeters of "clean rail", i.e. without protruding plastic parts from the feet.

We recommend that you use the roof rails where the beam is on top of the feet and that you place the roof rails at least 80 centimeters apart.

The roof tent is delivered complete to you. The only thing you need to do yourself is screw the mounting rails to the bottom of the roof tent and screw the steps. The tools to do this are included.

Shipping cost for the Åreskutan roof tent is an additional 1499 SEK for home delivery.

We ship from our warehouse on Wednesdays and Fridays. Delivery time is normally 3-6 business days, depending on where you live.

There is also the option to (free of charge) pick up your roof tent at our warehouse in Storfors, Värmland.
