The Roof Tent Lillskutan

Lillskutan is the lightest roof tent from Taktältarna. A handy roof tent of high quality with many smart features that provide a wonderful and smooth roof tent experience.

Lillskutan is set up in just a few minutes with the help of the ladder and does not need to be secured with any tent pegs in the ground. Large openings on all four sides of the tent provide views in all directions.

The roof tent is equipped with an extra thick mattress (8 centimeters) and blankets/sleeping bags can be left inside the tent when it is folded up.

The roof tent is easily mounted on the car's roof racks with bolts that are screwed in using the included tool. Everything needed to mount the roof tent is included in the delivery!

Lillskutan is available in the color Light Forest Green and in three different sizes, where the width of the mattress varies:

• 140 centimeters – two-person tent – 2-3 people
• 165 centimeters – three-person tent – 2-4 people
• 180 centimeters – four-person tent – 3-5 people

• The roof tent is accessed by climbing the included telescopic ladder which is easy to unfold and can be easily adjusted to your car's height.

• The tent fabric is made of a high-quality cotton/polyester blend in ripstop weave that makes the fabric durable and prevents it from tearing if it gets damaged. At the same time, the cotton makes the fabric breathable and transports out condensation.

• The tent fabric has a waterproof capacity of 3000 mm water column and keeps you dry in all weather.

• Extra thick mattress of 8 centimeters with removable and washable mattress cover.

• Openings on all sides of the roof tent provide both a fantastic view and really good ventilation. Choose whether you want to close completely or use the mosquito nets.

• Strong transport cover in PVC protects the tent from rain and dirt when folded. Designed so that you can leave sleeping bags and pillows in the tent when folded.

• Straps to roll up and fasten the transport cover.

• Flexible mounting. The roof tent can be mounted either with the entrance on the side of the car or behind the car.

• Two extra ventilation openings for improved airflow.

• Double-stitched and taped seams. Roof fabric that provides extra rain protection plus protects the tent fabric from the sun's UV rays.

Lillskutan and our other roof tent model Åreskutan have the same interior dimensions inside the roof tent.

How many actually fit in each tent depends on how much space you feel you need, as well as the size of the people.

The length of the mattress for all sizes is 230 centimeters. Four-legged friends can therefore fit at the foot end!

Roof racks/roof baskets must have an approved maximum load of at least 75 kilos.

The roof racks must have at least 72 centimeters of "clean rack", i.e. without protruding plastic parts from the feet.

We recommend that you use roof racks where the beam lies on top of the feet.

The roof tent is delivered complete to you. The only thing you need to do yourself is to screw the mounting rails onto the bottom of the roof tent and screw on the ladder. The tools to do this are included.
