How DownWool works

The unique DownWool filling, which is a mixture of down and wool, gives you both the down's really good insulating properties, while the wool acts as a natural air conditioner and provides an excellent sleep climate throughout the night.

The wool also makes the sleeping bag more resistant to moisture than a sleeping bag filled only with down. This is because wool absorbs moisture and transports it out, ensuring you stay dry. Wool also retains its warming ability even when it gets wet, which down does not.

The pillow pocket is also very practical. It is enough to insert your intermediate layer here and you have a pillow that stays in place. Another really good feature is the zipper which is round at the bottom and means that if it gets too hot at any time you can comfortably place your feet on top of the sleeping bag.
